Virgil
Virgil (July 17, 1900 – October 12, 1989) toured the United States from coast-to-coast many times during the 1930′s and 40′s, appearing in hundreds of theaters, colleges, civic and school auditoriums annually.
Leaving the University of Oregon just months before graduating in 1925, Virgil, with 850 pounds of equipment, began his career in vaudeville.
In 1927, Virgil became friends with MacDonald Birch playing the same territories year after year.

Harry Vernon
Henri Renaud (?-1971) was the stage name of Harry Vernon who served as Secretary of the Glasgow Society of Magicians.
He toured the seaside resorts working magic, juggling and latter ventriloquism. He was a craftsman and had a magic business making flowers, puppets and marionettes.

Chris VanBern
Chris Van Bern (1871-1950), born Thomas Byrne in Liverpool of Irish parents was billed as “The Act that cannot be described” consisting of magic, music, quick changes and his Wine and Water trick.
His wife, Cora Lister (known as Iva Voyce), was his assistant. Many of his original effects were published by Will Goldston in his Locked Books series.
He early made a study of general science and psychology in New York, and received diplomas from the College for Science and the College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York and Rochester City, and other institutions.
Van Bern was a Gold Medalist and Life Member of the Inner Magic Circle. He was President or Vice-President of fourteen other magical societies.

Valan
Valan (fl. 1904-1905) was a magician from Hastings and considered close to Charles Bertram in his card work. He performed at the Leipsic in Paris, and the Alhambra in London at the end of 1904.
